Punta Dakota – Playa Coyote – Guanacaste

Located on the southern Nicoya Peninsula of the Gold Coast of Guanacaste, Costa Rica, between the two international airports, the property is in what many consider “real” Costa Rica, not to mention the friendly people, beautiful beaches, emerald mountains and abundant wildlife.
The seaside family compound boasts privacy along with all the necessary amenities such as cell phone communication, television, and internet service. While by design the physical location of Punta Dakota is somewhat remote the area has an abundance of quality restaurants, grocery stores, and activities within easy driving distance. There are also miles of unspoiled beaches in the area, which on many days are virtually uninhabited.
The Punta Dakota property consists of 2.5 hectares (5 acres) and is sub-divided as per Costa Rica condominium law. There are three buildable residential lots along with two commercial lots along the public road and a substantial green area for use by the individual lot owners. The green area includes a large pool and rancho area which boasts a full kitchen and restrooms. There is also additional room for an event center if one was so desired. The green area also includes a playground, caretakers’ quarters, and walking trails. There is an abundance of fruit trees on the property for the enjoyment of the residents and visitors.
The property is currently staffed 24/7 and is gated from the main road. Two of the residential lots have structures built on them. One has a four bedroom four- and one-half bath villa. There are three king and one queen bedrooms with each bedroom being air conditioned and having a private bath. The other lot has a four units of- two bedrooms, two bath Casita complex along with a small private pool, jacuzzi and full outdoor kitchen/bar area with restroom. All bedrooms are air conditioned. Both the Casitas and villa also have on site laundry services.
The two built out lots along with the three empty lots all have separate utilities to the individual lots. Electricity is metered separately per lot. Each lot must provide separate wastewater treatment. Punta Dakota does a significant amount of irrigation during the dry season to maintain all of the beautiful, landscaped areas. There are two separate shallow wells on the property along with a water treatment facility. The property is also served by public water, but it is much more reasonable to utilize the wells for onsite irrigation use. Punta Dakota has constructed its own tower to insure stable internet service.
