Where Is Guanacaste, Costa Rica?

Guanacaste is a province in the northwestern region of Costa Rica. Its area encompasses a large portion of the Pacific coast and a section of the border between Costa Rica and Nicaragua. Just west of its neighbor, the province of Alajuela, the Guanacaste region is host to an abundance of beautiful white sand beaches, a long stretch of pristine ocean, national parks, and unmatched natural beauty.
